Obligatory Who Am I Post

Don't you just hate having to write these types of posts? I know I do. But, as it says in the title - it's obligatory. So, here we go...

I am a corporate drone by day, but identify as a photographer as my career.

I love tv, and really hate it when people try to imply that being someone who doesn't watch tv puts them on a moral high ground. But I don't want to start ranting here. Yet.

When it comes to movies I'm all over the place. I love typical chick flicks, and indie flicks and slap stick flicks. And while I'm not so much a fan of the horror genre I do love me some phychological thrillers.

I love magazines and although I'm about a year behind in reading them Real Simple, Psychology Today, Metropolitan Home and Martha Stewart Living are among my faves.

Gossip. Hate to love it. Love to hate it. What can I say - it's not the most mature thing, but reading about how I compare to celebs and finding ways that I am a "better person" does give me a bit of a boost.

And then there's my photography. It's my passion, but in general I've stayed away from photographing people because it takes a bold person to take a photo of a stranger. I'm learning to come out of my shell with this. I've got talent, I just need to learn to not let my shyness take over.
